Fit to Lead Six Month Journey

Event description
Many of us are inspired by stories of athletic pursuits that translate into lessons of leadership. Come discover the connection between fitness and leadership and how can it help you in your professional lives.

The Fit to Lead journey is an exciting way to develop leadership competencies in yourself through physical fitness. This six month program with a series of 12 guided virtual workshops (two per month) with guest leadership experts and fitness/wellness coaches; local monthly group workouts and peer support provide a venue where you can achieve advances in your health and career that you might not have thought were possible. Throughout your journey, you will discover these connections, grow as a leader to advance your career and expand your network with like-minded women.

Learning objectives
1. Describe the connections between fitness and leadership that will continue to enhance your professional career
2. Assess areas of strength and growth opportunities in key leadership competencies necessary to advance your career
3. Identify strategies to incorporate fitness and healthy habits into your current schedule that will support your continued growth as a leader

Agenda
- Two teleconference calls per month (on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, 8:00 - 9:00 PM) from March 14 - August 29, 2017
- One group workout per month from April - August (in-person with your local Fit to Lead group)

Photography Policy
By registering for this event, you acknowledge that you may be photographed, videotaped, and/or audio-taped during the meeting and hereby give permission for your image, voice, or survey comments to be used in education, training, promotion, and/or trade and communications media by the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association in any and all media throughout the world, without restriction as to frequency or duration of usage.

The HBA requires that all persons who participate in in-person events do so at their own risk and that each participant agrees to the following agreement before taking part in the activity and urges all participants to act in such a manner as to protect their own safety and the safety of others.

By registering for this event, I fully understand that my participation in the program is purely voluntary. I desire to participate and agree to act reasonably and prudently under the circumstances. I further understand that any HBA volunteers participating in the activity will act individually and will not represent the HBA.
