You Can Ask for More and You Should: Have Confidence to Negotiate Successfully and with Authenticity
When it comes to negotiation, women are highly successful and effective when representing others or advocating on behalf of others. But, when it comes to representing themselves, women fear being perceived as greedy, coming on too strong or putting relationships at risk. Sadly, this may not be far off. Research confirms that women’s success at work depends far more on their “likability” than men’s. This puts women in a real bind when faced with a situation that requires negotiation.
Join us for an evening where we will share techniques and experiences on how to build a more collaborative atmosphere as a more accepted negotiation style for both women and men, how to make the negotiation less about me and more about what I can do for you and how to raise your expectations to get systemically higher outcomes.
