HBA ZURICH-ZUG PRESENTS

Eyes wide open for 2021. Conversation on social biases, apathy and action

Interested in getting to know more about the HBA and meeting some of our members? Join HBA members, leaders, and others committed to gender parity in an informal setting to learn more about HBA happenings locally and globally. These gatherings have a reputation for forming long-lasting friendships with women in all areas of healthcare, and give you a sense of what membership in the HBA is all about.

Additional Information
2020 delivered many stark messages about the journey to rebalance social injustices. It exposed fragilities, increased insecurities and created divisions. It gave us a strong reminder that there is still a lot to do, undo, and redo, in gender equity and ethnic relations.

HBA Zürich - Zug wants to start 2021 on the right footing in this quest with the first Fireside Chat of the year. In this edition, Elisa Sinico, President of HBA Zürich-Zug, who was awarded HBA Europe's Marie Curie Award in 2020 for innovative impact, will be joined by Piera Marongiu, a leading expert in inclusion and diversity.

Together, they will share their personal views and experiences about gender biases - in everyday life, the workplace, its effects on healthcare industry - and how one should not retreat from discussion about ethnicities. They will also touch on what they think 2021 holds, and how we could approach it with greater wisdom and renewed energy.

This event is also designed to allow the audience to participate in the conversation.

About HBA Zürich - Zug's Fireside Chat series: brings together esteemed HBA members to talk about topics that are personal to them. Designed to be 'informal informative' - each episode "lets your body sit back while making your mind sit up."
