Innovation in Medical Devices
During the research and development of new drug products, high risks and challenging physical parameters can prevent new drug products from progressing to clinical trials. New delivery mechanisms can overcome these constraints bringing innovative drugs to those who need them. What's more recent developments in digital technologies, such as augmented reality, artificial intelligence and machine learning, provide a more hollistic approach to patient care, enhancing traditional treatments and procedures, or replacing them altogether. These days we see robotics for surgery, wellness programs preventing Diabetes, connected injection devices, mobile apps for contraception, just to name a few. Join the HBA on July 11th, to learn about how innovation in medical devices is transforming patient care at home and in the hosptial, and connect with local professionals working in healthcare.

Onsite (walk-in) registration: Is allowed
Onsite registration is not recommended. If you
choose to register onsite, please arrive at least fifteen
minutes early and be prepared to use your smartphone/mobile device to complete the transaction.
Only credit card payments are accepted. Nonmembers are advised to create an HBA profile
prior to arriving.
This event is refundable. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to events@hbanet.org by 4 July 2019. No refunds are available after this date.
