HBA OLD METRO AREA PRESENTS

HBA Metro Chapter Volunteer Appreciation Brunch

Event details
The event will start after registration with an opportunity for networking. Attendees will have time to meet and greet and enjoy a hot brunch buffet. Seating will begin at 10:30 AM with a short ice breaker for introductions at each table.

Hear first-hand, from a seasoned HBA alumni about her time spent volunteering. Julie Kampf has been a well-known volunteer since 2002 and president of the HBA Metro chapter in 2009. During that time, she has built an award-winning  company and authored a book. Hear her insights on how volunteering has supported her career and tips on what great networking really is all about and from her perspective, it has little to do with a business card.

The volunteer engagement committee will then present the LEAD award and acknowledge all of the honored volunteers. The HBA Metro chapter president will speak about the importance of voluneers on the HBA Metro chapter committees and the value that they bring to the HBA Metro chapter and the organization overall.

Members have the option to stay for additional networking and workshops, information on additional volunteer opportunities, having their companies sponsor events, recruiting more members, new ideas for HBA events, etc.

*** Current HBA Metro chapter volunteers are invited to attend this event at no charge. If you are a volunteer and have not received a discount code by 10/24/14, please email metro@hbanet.org with your name and volunteer committee and you will be provided the discount code.
