HBA OLD METRO AREA PRESENTS

Leveraging Value-Drivers to Inspire Innovations in a Rapidly Transforming Healthcare Industry

Event description
Shrinking drug pipelines, the rise in generic products, increased emphasis on personalize medicine and the convergence between conventional and complemetary medicine, are revolutionizing the way we innovate for health and wellness.

Join you colleagues and interact with our four esteemed panelists including 2014 HBA Woman of the Year, Shideh S. Bina, as they set the stage for defining value-driven innovation and how external factors (market, patients and shareholders) as well as the culture and leadership of organizations can shape meaningful, sustainable innovation for prescribed and self-care. They will focus on providing practical advice based on best practices, lessons learned and case studies that will inspire both individual contributors, group leaders and executives to more efficiently and quickly discover, develop and commercialize new and novel products and drug therapies.

Colleagues in innovation, business developement, business strategy, commerical, leagan and reimbursement roles along with research, regulatory and clinical scientists are welcome to come and learn from our panel and each other at this evening networking event.

Learning objectives
1. Define “value-driven innovation” and its impact on the health and wellness industry
2. Identify and address the key drivers and internal and external stakeholders in value-driven and speed-to-market innovations (e.g. regulatory authorities and reimbursement groups)
3. Discuss best practices and lessons learned for individual contributors working in different operational models for value driven innovation
