HBA KANSAS CITY PRESENTS

Kansas City Healthcare - Leadership Live

Event description
After the amazing success and outstanding turnout at our last HBA event, “Building Brands for Creativity,” we are excited to offer our first in a series entitled "Kansas City Healthcare – Leadership Live" that will feature a panel discussion with great networking opportunities. The event will feature top Kansas City healthcare industry women leaders who will share insights about their various healthcare industry sectors and answer questions.

You can expect a fun-filled evening of networking and learning valuable insights from our panel of healthcare industry women leaders from The University of Kansas Cancer Center, Bayer Animal Health, Quintiles and Teva Pharmaceuticals.

In addition, we will also be collecting gently used job interview type clothing to help support a great cause, “Dress for Success.” They are in need of your fabulous suits and other professional apparel that could furnish another woman with confidence as they enter or return to the workplace. Making a great first impression and landing that job that could change her life. Please make sure the donated suits are dry-cleaned or laundered.

Learning objectives
1. Learn about some of the many Kansas City area healthcare companies and the top three things the panel believes we should know about their industry
2. Gain insights from the women leaders regarding their leadership experience and identify potential career development opportunities
3. Network with other healthcare businesswomen from various healthcare industry sectors to identify future business and/or career opportunities
