HBA CHICAGO-NORTHERN SUBURBS PRESENTS

Feel Like an Impostor? You Are Not Alone

Have you ever felt you aren’t good enough, that you don’t deserve to be in the position you are in or deserve a position you want? Do you suffer from negative self-talk, feelings of inadequacy, dwelling on past mistakes and not feeling good enough? Have you ever felt that others will realize that you do not deserve the accomplishments or recognition that you’ve received? You are not alone.

Imposter Syndrome is very real, and impacts all kinds of people. Imposter syndrome is a term referring to a pattern of behavior where individuals doubt their accomplishments and have a persistent, often internalized fear of being exposed as a fraud. Eloiza Domingo-Snyder, Head of Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion at Astellas, will share how to identify and combat this behavior.
