HBA TORONTO PRESENTS

Changing Minds and Minding Change

Trial success is at risk unless patients are engaged as partners. Join us for a panel discussion focused on the value of partnering with patients to design, develop and successfully complete clinical trials. The panelists will discuss how patients are being engaged to contribute to research that affects them to ensure that their role in medical advances is bigger than simply participating in clinical trials. The changing regulatory landscape will also be discussed given the potential impact this change will have on trials and access in Canada. Panelists to include: patient advocacy group representative, an industry representative, a research institution representative and a clinical trials recruitment support perspective.
