The Biggest Lie About Career Fulfillment - Strategies for a Satisfying Career
Career satisfaction is something we all seek, regardless of age or position. This session is designed to help professionals at various stages improve their level of satisfaction: young professionals seeking to forge a meaningful path, mid-stage managers feeling stuck and tenured professionals exploring the “post-corporate” stage of their careers.
Lorraine shares experiences, case studies, and research to examine what she calls the lie about career satisfaction. Her research shows that fulfillment doesn’t come from success, especially other people’s ideas of success. We feel fulfilled when we’re doing work we love, on a mission we chose. Success follows. She will show you an approach to career fulfillment that has worked for her throughout her career in the pharmaceutical industry.
Participants will learn an approach for developing a plan for managing their career journey effectively. They will also hear from other senior level women and learn their tips for success.
