Webinar: The Power and Prestige of Taking Your Seat in the Boardroom

Serving on a corporate board is a distinguishing avenue for women at the executive level to expand their business impact in the healthcare industry. Board seats provide ample opportunity for executive women to continue developing their professional leadership skills. Furthermore, research shows time and time again that companies with women on their board of directors consistently outperform their peers. It’s just good business.

In this two-part webinar series, attendees will hear from a panel of industry leaders about their journeys to their first corporate board seats, with stories and lessons learned along the way. They will provide useful tips and tricks for securing your first position, preparing for interviews with board members and executive search firms and the ways in which board service has helped each to grow and make significant contributions to the industry. You’ll also glean insights about the differences between nonprofit and for-profit boards, as well as the responsibilities and expectations of the members of those boards.
