Join us on May 13 for mentoring matters. AstraZeneca hosts the first of two key events focusing on career and business advancement through mentoring and networking. Dr. Penny Attridge and Dr. Susan Galbraith will be discussing their careers and experience of mentoring followed by networking and breakout sessions with the HBA and the BioHub at Alderley Park.

Learning objectives
1.  Find out why mentoring matters and how it has benefited the careers of our key speakers
2.  Find out how mentoring and networking can accelerate the growth of new start-ups and established SMEs at the BioHub
3.  Increase your networks in the North by meeting and speaking to healthcare professionals and leaders in industry
4.  Find out about volunteering opportunities, becoming a mentor or mentee and voice your opinion on what you really think is important

The HBA will also hold an informal breakout for those wanting to discuss the mentoring program, volunteering opportunities, and give feedback. The BioHub will hold an informal breakout session for those wanting to discuss the new LifeScience Mentoring Network at the BioHub and the role of mentoring in business growth.
