Event description
Join HBA San Francisco as the HBA celebrates Jennifer Cook, head of pharma for Europe region at Roche, as our 2016 Woman of the Year (WOTY). In addition, we will celebrate the 2016 Honorable Mentor Jacopo Leonardi, executive vice president and president, Immunology at Baxalta Incorporated, and nearly 100 Rising Stars and Luminaries.
During the event, co-sponsored by Genentech and Deloitte, we will participate in WOTY via a live satellite over breakfast. In addition to the live feed, we will hear from a variety of senior leaders from Genentech, Deloitte, MyoKardia, Giant, Bayer and PwC and provide the opportunity for networking throughout the event.

Charity donations
Women helping women is important to the HBA, so this year we have chosen Dress for Success and Elizabeth House as our sponsored charities. We will be sharing more information about each charity during the event. We will be accepting the following items for the charities:
• Business attire and accessory donations
• Diapers and diaper wipes
• Towels
• Umbrellas and rain boots
• Toiletries - soap, conditioner, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.
• Cleaning products - laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, bleach, dish detergent, etc.
• Oils - coconut oil, sesame seed oil and hemp oil
• Coffee grinder, beans, filters and tea
• Office/ school supplies - pens, pencils, erasers and folders
• Puzzles and toys for kids under 2 (including Baby Einstein and baby Mozart DVD’s)
• Dry goods - beans, rice, millet, whole wheat couscous, whole wheat pasta and gluten free pasta
• Gardening supplies
• Kitchen items - pressure cooker, Vitamix, microwave
• Art supplies - markers, crayons, tissue paper, pipe cleaners, fabrics and scissors
Our jewelry vendor, One Cat from Crazy, will be donating 10% of their profits to Dress for Success and Elizabeth House.
Special instructions: Bring a valid government issued ID for security. Parking Options:
Across from Building 82, there is a multi-level parking structure that will be available for all WOTY West attendees to park. There will be signage to help find the parking structure. In the parking structure, there is no cost and no parking permit required.
