HBA SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PRESENTS

Building Lasting Friendships with Courage, Health and Attitude

Event description
Co-authors Diane Gage Lofgren and Margaret Bhola will provide insights about how to reach out to new friends, enjoy the friends you have, overcome friendship breakdowns, find your fit within a group of friends and show gratitude to your friends for all of the joy they bring to your life. With passion and humor, we will explore intentionally investing in friendships to enrich our lives in good and bad times.

The "Building Lasting Friendships with Courage, Health and Attitude" message will encourage you to put thought, time and effort into creating and sustaining female friendships. Data shows that friends are so important in our lives and for our health. In fact, when women share each other's company, their bodies release the stress-fighting hormone, oxytocin. Friends fill unspeakable voids, provide certainty in uncertain times and offer a safeguard of love- friendships are a crucial part of life.

Margaret and Diane hope to leave you with a fresh sense of determination to check into female friendships and/or start over and find women that they want to grow old with. Their hope is that you feel nothing less than excited and passionate about putting their ideas to use to ensure a healthy friendship future.
