Event description
Cindy Waite, president of Accentuate Staffing, has worked with professionals in transition for over 15 years. She understands the job transaction situation very well and will share a variety of helpful tips including:
- Stretching your comfort zone - networking tips to help you meet new people
- Starting conversations with people in a room full of strangers
- Saving face and interpreting body language (are they interested or you or not?)
- How helping others comes back to you
- How to ask for what you want
- LinkedIn tips to get you noticed
- Addressing job search fears and concerns
- Preparing for an interview to help ensure the jitters don't get you rambling

Learning objectives
1. Gain skills and confidence in your networking abilities
2. Become aware of modern job search practices and expectations - a lot has changed in the last few years
3. Be well prepared for your interviews
