HBA DENVER PRESENTS

Improve Collaboration During Tough Times Using Contextual Leadership

Context is the pre-established belief system you use to interpret and move through every situation you encounter. Contexts are entirely made up of conclusions. Conclusions include everything from perceptions, interpretations, beliefs, rumors and more. Our context/conclusions create the reality that we live in and are generated from a variety of experiences that involve our family, environment, socioeconomics, birth order, education and books we read, etc. As a leader, our most important job is to reveal and shift context, starting with our own.

Why does context matter? Because a leader who embraces and understands the importance of context has a framework that allows them to produce favorable outcomes more consistently. The core of contextual leadership is that context drives behavior and behavior produces results/impact.

After registering, you will receive an email with suggested pre-reading/pre-viewing materials that are relevant to this event. Food and drinks will be provided.
