HBA LOS ANGELES PRESENTS

CANCELLED: How Can the Healthcare Industry Benefit from Blockchain Technology?

This event has been CANCELLED due to local conditions. We apologize for any inconvenience and plan to reschedule in 2019. Please check back for further information.
How can data be both open and secure at the same time? Blockchain technology could be the solution to that very problem. Since its inception in 2008, Blockchain technology has been applied in banking and financial services, supply chain, insurance, digital music distribution and more. What are the emerging applications in healthcare? This will be the third event in the HBA Los Angeles Emerging Technologies series. Again, we will bring together leaders in both technology and healthcare for networking and cross-pollination of ideas. All who want to learn about technology, understand emerging use cases, and know how to lead a business through blockchain adoption are welcome.

Experts John Squeo, Stacy Jain, and Eman Hashem Safadi will lead a presentation and discussion to introduce:

     1. Uses for Blockchain/distributed ledger technology
     2. Technology gaps for tracking patient outcomes across the continuum of care, and
     3. Technology gaps for tracking product supply.
