HBA SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PRESENTS

Put Gender on Your Agenda: Advancing Gender Parity and Its ROI

Event description
Gender parity acceleration's time has come. Women represent more than fifty percent of the population yet have long been overlooked as a vital talent resource that contributes to economic growth and prosperity. To accelerate growth, deliberate action is needed by men and women to recruit, retain and advance women in equal proportion to their limitless potential in the workplace.

Join us for an engaging discussion on women's potential to envision a path to leadership, collaborate on progressive culture change and build supportive environments through a range of initiatives. The evening will open with Ernst & Young "Women, Fast-Forward" initiative on gender equity with new data specific to the life science industry. After the presentation, the evening will transition to group discussion on actions that can be taken both individually and collectively.

Learning objectives
1. Present and process the EY’s “Women, Fast-Forward” initiative on gender equity specific to the life sciences industry
2. Discuss and identify how you can become change agents within your own companies, what actions and recommendations you would make to executive management for change
3. Engage with other industry women during the networking experience and re-energize your alliances with leaders in the Southern California area
