HBA MID-ATLANTIC REGION PRESENTS

A Focus on Black Inequality: Leadership Solidarity In Action - A Reunion Check-In

Last year, several leaders joined us on a panel to talk of racial inequities and – what various pledges of solidarity worldwide ensued. Recognizing that we all need to grow— to be intentional in breaking the silence everywhere about this painful legacy— in our homes, on the job, and in our communities, we held a highly acclaimed panel discussion with top industry executives. Well… we said we would check back in and see where things are in our panelists' lives and in their workplaces.

Join HBA Mid-Atlantic and the Women of Color affinity group on 8 June from 5:30-7:30pm EST as we talk of the progress of solidarity -- and the ongoing effects from events that continue to happen. A movement to combat racial injustices cannot happen without visible, vocal, and visionary support everywhere and from everyone.

Here is our returning panel of influencers, allies, sponsors and active experts who will update us on their state of change, adaptation and growth:

• Karima Sharif, Group Vice President, Publicis Health Media & Global Chair of HBA Women of Color affinity group
• Conrod Kelly, Managing Director MSD Chile, Merck
• Karen Dale, DC CEO & Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer for AmeriHealth Caritas
• Paul Testa, EVP Supply Chain and Operations, Kyowa Hakko Kirin Co. Ltd
• Christine Ramsay, Global Senior Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Leader, Jazz Pharmaceuticals
• Susan Childs, Founder & Principal Managing Partner, LCA Enterprises Limited LLC (Moderator)
