HBA MID-ATLANTIC REGION PRESENTS

POSTPONED: Women in Transition: Maximizing LinkedIn

A recent study showed that 94 percent of recruiters are active on LinkedIn, but only 34 percent of job seekers are. Let’s face it, if you want to be found or if you’re looking for a new job, maximizing LinkedIn should be a critical part of your job search strategy. Consider how you might use Google to find something of interest to you. When you receive the list of options, how far down do you go? Do you look at the top three listings? The top five? You probably rarely go to the second page. That’s exactly the way recruiters use their search capabilities on LinkedIn.

In this interactive session, Ken will teach you ways to get noticed and to move yourself to the first page of a search. You will learn how to:

      - Build and enhance your personal brand.
      - Strengthen your profile.
      - See and be seen in your industry.
      - Find the right job for you and the people who can help you get it.

**Bring your laptop, iPad or at least your phone so you can make edits as we work with Ken. Please also bring your own coffee/snack if you so desire as there is no cofee available on site. with Ken.
