Event description
Chris Webber, consultant at The GAP Partnership, will be running a two hour workshop on negotiation. They will be using their deep understanding of human behaviour and psychology to teach us how to adapt and change our behaviour to suit the circumstances we face. During the session we will explore how behaviours influence feelings and how those feelings affect the outcome of the negotiation. Importantly we will start to consider how the feelings of the other party are probably more significant because your job is to get them to agree to your proposals. You need them to feel that you are someone they can reach agreement with and possibly work with long term. How this is achieved will differ, but the understanding and awareness of emotional intelligence is the starting point. The session will be followed by a fun themed networking event which will bring everything you have practiced into place.
