HBA ZURICH-ZUG PRESENTS

Navigating the grey

What happens when innovation is faster than our ability to update rules and regulations? Takeda and HBA Zurich - Zug are proud to collaborate on an educational event around our 2020 signature topic of Future of Healthcare.

This event will elevate your knowledge on the changing landscape of healthcare innovations and technologies, how to overcome ethical dilemmas around it and showcase how ethics and compliance can catalyze innovation.

Mwana Lug ogo, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer will open this event and share her perspective on this topic.

Julien Durand, Head, Global Ethics & Compliance Program Strategy & Innovation at Takeda and WHO Expert on Digital Health/Global Health Ethics will then introduce you to exponential and intersecting technologies and how they will disrupt the ecosystem over the next 10-20 years. He will share what opportunities exist, but also ethical dilemmas around those technologies and how a widening gap between these technologies, societal expectations and regulations will require a shift towards adaptive risk-regulation and self-regulation.

This will be followed by a session hosted by Linda Peralta, Head, Plasma-Derived Therapies Ethics & Compliance at Takeda. Linda will illuminate how ethics and compliance can catalyze healthcare innovation. With the help of case-studies and break-out sessions, we will explore how a decision-making model used at Takeda can help to navigate grey and complex areas. This event will certainly equip you with some valuable lessons on the future of the healthcare industry and on how to make decisions in an ethical way.
