HBA NEW ENGLAND REGION PRESENTS

Fit to Lead: Sweat-working - Backwoods Workout

Many of us are inspired by stories of athletic pursuits that translate into lessons of leadership. Come discover the connection between fitness and leadership and how can it help you in your professional lives.

Network in a whole new way: while getting in a workout in beautiful Cat Rock Park in Waltham. Hear from Theresa Proia, associate principal scientist in oncology in vivo pharmacology at AstraZeneca, former kickboxing instructor and board member of Waltham Wellness Group (AstraZeneca employee resource group), about how fitness plays into her life. Walk, run or skip the three-mile loop at your own pace (guided so no one gets left behind) and join back up at the end for a stretch, light fare and networking.

Agenda
5:30 - 6:00 PM    Registration, check-in, snacks and presentation by Theresa Proia
6:00 - 7:00 PM    Cat Rock Park (different groups for different paces)
7:00 - 7:30 PM    Stretching and mindful movement cool-down

Special instructions: Please park in any open parking spot but note that the parking garage will require badge access after 6:00 PM. The parking lot past the building will be closest to the event (signs will be posted).

Please confirm that you will attend the sweat-working event for catering and security purposes.
