HBA SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA PRESENTS

HB8: Join Elizabeth Rutherfurd and Lisa Gohil on What Makes a Leader - San Francisco

The best-selling Harvard Business Review article, "What Makes a Leader," by Daniel Goleman on leadership and emotional intelligence describes the most important attributes of leadership as self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills. Join Elizabeth Rutherfurd and Lisa Gohil for an engaging discussion on how to strengthen our emotional intelligence for leadership.

Elizabeth is a client portfolio lead at Future State. She is an accomplished, energetic and results-driven leader with 18 years of experience working with businesses of all shapes and sizes to creatively solve problems and build organizational capability. She is a strategic partner to clients – diagnosing challenges, architecting solutions and mobilizing teams that enable clarity, alignment, decision-making and execution across complex environments – and having fun along the way.

Lisa Gohil is a senior manager in Deloitte Consulting's healthcare strategy practice, and the secretary of HBA San Francisco Bay Area. She focuses on growth and digital strategy for healthcare stakeholders, and is passionate about public health. She partners with healthcare executives to develop corporate and business unit strategy, prepare for uncertainty and develop new ways to influence patient care.
