HBA SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PRESENTS

Build Personal Resilience for Success in All Aspects of Your Life

Event description
Lynn Nye and Meherbani Khalsa are both Kudalini yoga teachers and successful businesswomen who will share their different pathways to personal and business success. Lynn has a PhD in immunology and is president of Medical Minds, a communications company that specializes in physician and patient education; she has practiced Kundalini yoga for 30 years. Meherbani is a lead teacher trainer at Kundalini Yoga International, she is a credentialed California school teacher and the founder and owner of a successful child daycare center which she has operated since 1984. Merherbani was one of Yogi Bhajan's first students.

Yoga and meditation are now common practice in many walks of life including the healthcare research and business world. Yoga keeps the body healthy and meditation clears the mind. Regular meditation helps clean our conscious and subconscious minds and removes our limitations to build the resilience, flexibility and strength we need to face and overcome challenges in business and personal life. And meditation has a bonus; it generates time because it helps us to stay focused on our objectives instead of the myriad random thoughts that continually pass through our minds.

Meherbani and Lynn will talk with us about the basic principles of the mind, give us techniques to control the thoughts that direct our actions and together we will experience the effect of an ancient Kundalini yoga meditation.

Learning objectives
1. Boost your effectiveness at work and play
2. Explore the mind and how it impacts your success
