Best Practices for Building Boards and Executive Teams, Perspectives of an Institutional Investor

HBA is partnering with RA Capital to provide unique insights regarding the world of corporate board appointments in the small-to-mid Cap market, insights to drive your success securing a board seat.

RA Capital is a multi-stage investment manager dedicated to evidence-based investing in public and private healthcare and life science companies that are developing drugs, medical devices, and diagnostics. They are good at building boards and leadership teams which drive successful businesses. Their insights, guidance and examples will improve your probability of success.

This interactive session includes: a conversation with RA Capital Managing Partners, a panel discussion with women sitting on corporate boards, sharing of concrete/ pragmatic advice and an exercise for you. Using a real-world situation, you’ll create your own positioning and pitch, describe yourself in response to a board opportunity and get feedback.
