HBA OLD GREATER PHILADELPHIA PRESENTS

Leveraging the Power of Storytelling for Business Success

Event description
Building business connections is a sustainable leadership advantage. To achieve this advantage, you have a powerful tool as old as time: storytelling. Come hear from executive leadership coach Linda DeLuca about how you can tell your own story in a manner that will influence others and help you achieve your goals. This event will foster small-group discussions over dinner and will be highly interactive. Joining us via video conference, Linda will start by sharing her story and talking about the advantages that storytelling can provide. Then in small groups you’ll craft a story and get personalized feedback. Learn how to harness the power of storytelling to change the conversation and improve your career and life.

Learning objectives
1. Articulate how and why storytelling can be a powerful tool for persuasion and self-promotion
2. Construct stories to communicate more effectively with different audiences
