Webinar - Creating Sponsorship Programs and Human Resources Practices

Please note this webinar will take place from 12:00 to 1:15 PM ET. Please convert into your local time zone and mark your calendar accordingly.

Webinar description
Sponsorship is key to moving into executive roles. When men sponsor women, misperceptions of the sponsorship relationship may arise--yet effective HR practices and corporate sponsorship programs can allievate those concerns. This webinar will explore what women and men can do to create a sponsorship culture that helps advance more women in the organization.

The Building Better Business Connections (3BC) community explored this topic in May. This webinar series will dive deeper into several aspects of sponsorship within gender partnership. It will offer practical tools you can apply to your career and your company, improving communications with your gender partners and driving business results.

Learning objectives
1. Define what men, women and the company gain when men become allies for women
2. Provide each gender with the opportunity to hear the other's perspective and deepen the understanding of what it takes for each to lead
3. Explore the steps that companies can take to engage men as advocates for leveling the playing field and encourage men to step up as women's allies.
