HBA SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PRESENTS

From Molecule to Market: An Educational Panel Series About Careers in Drug Development

Please note this event takes place from 6:00 - 9:00 PM PST.

Event description
Amgen, Agensys, The Association for Women in Science and the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association are proud to present the second installment of "From Molecule to Market: An Educational Panel Series About Careers in Drug Development." This panel series will feature industry experts sharing career advice from various stages of the pharmaceutical development process, from early discovery and process development to clinical research, regulatory and marketing. The goal of each panel is to provide our audience with an understanding of the drug development process, the roles and responsibilities of the functions involved and offer advice from industry experts on what it takes to be successful in these roles. We hope this event will help early and mid-career women to expand their horizons, make informed career decisions and be inspired to achieve the next level professionally. The event will include a moderated panel discussion followed by an interactive Q & A with the audience.

The panel series kicks off on June 10 at Agensys with a focus on the mid stages of drug development process: clinical development, regulatory, and manufacturing/operations.

The panel will be moderated by Jeanine L. Bussiere, Ph.D., DABT, ATS, executive director of toxicology, Amgen, Inc.

Featured panelists include:
-    Dr. David Reese, MD, senior vice president, translational sciences, Amgen, Inc.
