For this Wine'd Down Wednesday Office politics is unavoidable and can be rewarding. Emotional intelligence is the capacity to be aware of, control, and express one's emotions and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically. Executive coach Monica Thakrar will share ideas for managing organizational politics to benefit your mission by using emotional intelligence.

Special instructions: The suite is located on the east side of the building on Pearl Street (between East West Hwy and Montgomery Ave). Parking: Garage 47-Waverly Garage is just around the corner on Montgomery Avenue ($1/hr); open until 10 PM. From the garage, turn left to head east. Turn left at the corner onto Pearl Street. Serendipity is just down on the left. (Garage 47-Waverly Garage). Metro: Bethesda Metro is two blocks away as well. From the metro head east on East West Hwy (crossing over Wisconsin Ave). Two blocks down, turn right onto Pearl Street. The Lab is midway down the block on the right.
