WIS Event: Paying it Forward - Inspiring the Next Generation of Women in Science

Event details
We want to help open doors for young women interested in pursuing a career in science. Please invite a guest and join us for an interactive discussion. Our distinguished speakers - Laurie Fomby, DVM, PhD and Susan Olesik, PhD - will teach us how to articulate the wide range of career possibilities in the sciences, help us learn how to encourage young people and those around us to think broadly about science and to reach for the stars when exploring career options. Let's pay it forward and inspire the next generation of women in science!

1. To learn about the many ways to foster a young women's interest in science and technology
2. Network with HBA Ohio WIS members and guests to establish professional connections that can be leveraged when mentoring or counseling young women interested in science and technology
