Event Details
In a healthcare era of increased clinical complexity, personalized medicine, and multidisciplinary treatments, it is critical to not lose sight of the most important role within this ecosystem: that of the patient. The role of the patient has evolved greatly from its origin as passive participant to the highly-informed, empowered health care decision-maker of today. A fully engaged patient is one who takes an active role before, during and after their treatment. This enhanced role doesn’t come without a great deal of support from the entire provider team. Please join women leaders from executive, managerial and clinical teams at Cancer Treatment Centers of America as they discuss their specific roles, which work in concert with the broader organization, to foster a culture of patient advocacy, true empowerment and hope.
