HBA NEW YORK PRESENTS

Rescheduled: Accelerating Digital Innovation with Cross-Functional Team Collaboration

To drive digital transformation, professionals in commercial functions and those in medical, regulatory, legal and compliance (MLRC) roles must collaborate as partners. When members of cross-functional teams adopt a collaborative mindset and value one another’s contributions, they accelerate innovation for digital initiatives. Creating a path forward for alignment among these disparate functions also drives the top and bottom line, leading to greater market competitiveness and reduced risk, while serving patients, prescribers and public health.

This interactive event brings together high performing cross-functional team leaders who will share business cases for a collaborative mindset. Panelists and participants will have candid conversations about how to adopt winning behaviors that create cohesive cross-functional teams (trust, healthy conflict, commitment, accountability and collective results).

The impact of mindset and winning behaviors on digital innovation will be analyzed, including the need to:
• Confront and eliminate myths/judgements that may exist about one another’s functional value to build trust
• Level-setting all stakeholders on fundamental regulatory requirements for healthy conflict
• Align on an overarching (super-ordinate) goal to ensure commitment and to create a path forward for accountability
• Adopt a solution-focused (vs. subjective) approach to achieving collective results

This approach will advance the perception of the MLRC as strategic advisors to commercial functions and enable the MLRC to continue helping commercial advance business goals – a win-win situation for all involved.

Registrants will participate in pre-event surveys to shape the discussion and take home an action kit chock full of practical information.
