In today’s fast-moving world, as businesses reorganize and grow, it’s even more important for professionals to take an active role in directing their own career development. Don’t believe that what you are doing on the job today will keep you from experiencing changes to your career tomorrow. Sticking your head in the sand and hoping you will be spared from changes to your current role and responsibilities is risky. Today it’s essential to learn the skills to work with your company’s leadership, so that you can direct change to a positive outcome. By participating in this interactive workshop, you will identify transferable skills from your work history which you enjoyed and gave you energy, create a mind map to help give direction to your career future, and leave with knowledge of career builder pitfalls to avoid as well as actionable steps for your career, which you can implement in bite size pieces.
