HBA BOSTON-CAMBRIDGE METRO PRESENTS

Becoming a Mindful Leader

Today many companies like Google, General Mills and Aetna have implemented mindfulness programs for their employees. Research indicates that mindfulness has a positive impact on employees and the bottom line. As a leadership strategy, mindfulness helps people become more effective by focusing on the most important task.

This program will unite the HBA Boston Fit to Lead members and HBA Boston members and nonmembers to introduce basic principles and practices of mindfulness. In this highly interactive and experiential session, participants will practice various mindfulness techniques and learn best practices for starting and maintaining a mindfulness practice. They will also learn how this practice can help both athletic performance and performance in the workplace.
