HBA OLD METRO AREA PRESENTS

Executive Event: Keys to Creating Successful Collaborations across the Healthcare Ecosystem

**Online registration for this event is now closed. Onsite registration on the day of the event will be available for those who wish to attend.

Event description
This first collaboration event between HBA Metro chapter and NYC Health Business Leaders (NYCHBL) will showcase successful partnerships that have gone beyond the usual collaboration. Strategic cross-industry collaborations are critical in an increasingly complex environment and require utilizing and leveraging each partner’s capabilities to innovate, integrate knowledge, solve challenges and drive success.

Our exclusive leadership panel drawn from pharmacy, pharma, technology and media will share examples of successful cross-industry collaborations where they identified innovative ways to create a partnership and realized their desired outcomes.

Dr. Mikael Dolsten, president of worldwide research and development at Pfizer, Inc. will introduce the topic addressing the strategic importance of collaborating with the whole healthcare ecosystem.

Panelists will share their examples, results and what enabled them to realize positive outcomes and deliver value:
•    Ana Ceppi, VP healthcare and financial services, Univision Communications Inc, on Univision’s collaboration with Montefiore and Novo Nordisk: Connecting the Hispanic community to the diabetes care they need.
•    Jocelyn Konrad, VP pharma initiatives and clinical services, Rite Aid, on Rite Aid’s collaborations in delivering unbranded educational patient programs to improve patient compliance
•    Tony Coyle, chief scientific officer, Pfizer’s Centers for Therapeutic Innovation, on their unique collaborative models with academic medical centers and disease foundations with the aim of translating promising science into clinical candidates.

An interactive discussion will be moderated by Alex Jung, principal, strategy life sciences, EY.

HBA Metro is happy to be partnering for this event with NYC Health Business Leaders, a professional community of 3,000 senior executives who are leading, innovating and driving healthcare forward. NYCHBL has created a healthcare ecosystem in New York that spans sectors, bringing together the best minds to discuss important issues and spur innovation. NYCHBL believes that by connecting the right people – leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs and physicians – they can ignite the right conversations that advance all sides of health.
