NNJ Dare to Care: Education
Our Dare to Care Education session will open the conversation to some of the challenges out ahead for families, students and parents as school commutes, return to their classroom and a full day of learning and socializing outside of the home begins. Some of the students in our homes have set out to their college dorms for the first time, some are returning to a school with halls full of students for the first time, some of the students in our homes are returning to a full school day after shortened days and being in their pajamas!
What can we arm ourselves with to help as the students in our homes flip back to the classroom? What conversations can we have to help manage the adjustment, and prepare us all for the initial 30-90 days, while we adjust in our professional lives as well?
The HBA is a united force and Dare to Care is a channel to unite us. It is an opportunity to come together to share daily life’s insights, identify lessons learned, brainstorm solutions to the common, persistent challenges and discover solutions together. These sessions will reinforce the HBA’s core goals to strengthen women’s networks, make new connections and generate ideas relatable to our personal and professional life.
HBA NNJ believes leadership is not time-bound but a full-time commitment that takes initiatives. The HBA looks to lead its members into conversations with each other; to speak to regular, daily challenges faced by each other, and to encourage the authentic, transparent, and transformative thought and connections.

By registering for this event, you acknowledge that you may be photographed, videotaped, and/or audio-taped during the meeting and hereby give permission for your image, voice, or survey comments to be used in education, training, promotion, and/or trade and communications media by the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association in any and all media throughout the world, without restriction as to frequency or duration of usage.
COVID-19 Policy
The HBA requires that all persons who participate in in-person events do so at their own risk and that each participant agrees to the following agreement before taking part in the activity and urges all participants to act in such a manner as to protect their own safety and the safety of others.
By registering for this event, I fully understand that my participation in the program is purely voluntary. I desire to participate and agree to act reasonably and prudently under the circumstances. I further understand that any HBA volunteers participating in the activity will act individually and will not represent the HBA. As a condition to my participation the activity, I waive and release the HBA and their officers, employees, and agents from any claim that I may have for any damage to property or injury to my person that may result in whole or in part from my participation.
