HBA CHARLOTTE PRESENTS

Taking the Plunge - Building Our Own Research Compliance Firm During a Pandemic

While the COVID-19 pandemic brought on many uncertainties, Genevieve deLemos and Andrea Wever of deLemos & Wever, PLLC made the bold move to transition from Atrium Health, a large healthcare system in Charlotte, NC to start their own research compliance firm. Their firm provides regulatory advice, develops policies and procedures, and advises on compliance issues that arise from participating in research studies for hospitals, health systems and physician practices. Was it worth the risk?

Hear first hand from this dynamic duo as they’re eager to share their personal journeys on why they decided to take the plunge. For HBA members and non-members with an entrepreneurial spirit, you don’t want to miss this event!
