Everyone Matters: Creating Solutions in DE&I for Improving Research and Clinical Trial Outcomes

There is a critical need for promotion and improvement of clinical trial diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I). This need can be addressed by people taking action; working to increase representation of underserved and unrepresented communities in research and clinical trials, striving to accurately reflect the real-world use population.

Increasing understanding of how research and clinical study findings translate into the real world is a critically important challenge in public health. Overcoming this challenge requires innovation and broadening access for physicians, patients and researchers. Failure to make improvements can result in conclusions from clinical trials which further healthcare inequities.

Part one of a three part series, HBA Global Women in Science (WIS) in collaboration with the Career Transformations and Women of Color Affinity Groups and sponsored by CSL presents: our esteemed panelists and moderators who will be sharing their own personal and professional experiences that led them to take action in this important field. They are diverse women and men in science, who are changemakers and leaders in the pharmaceutical, contract research organization and healthcare industries. Please join us for what will be an insightful, engaging and educational event, where the sense of community is undeniable!
