Brunch Boardroom: Business, Books & Bites
Each quarter, we’ll highlight one impactful book to deepen our conversations and spark new ideas for professional and personal growth. The series is designed to foster meaningful connections in a small group setting while providing tools, insights, and strategies that can be applied immediately in your career. It encourages personal reflection and growth through curated reading, and offers a relaxed yet impactful environment—where learning meets community.
We are excited to start the series on November 8th with the book Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance by Angela Duckworth. #1 New York Times bestseller. In this must-read for professionals, Angela Duckworth reveals the secret to outstanding achievement is not talent but a special blend of passion and persistence she calls “grit.” Drawing on insights from her own research, she shares how grit drives success in business, education, sports, and beyond–and how we can cultivate it in ourselves and our teams.
