Founded in 1979 in the Uptown neighborhood, Sarah’s Circle is a women-only nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness for those who identify as female in Chicago. Operating a drop-in support center, interim housing, and long-term permanent supportive housing, the organization follows a trauma-informed, Housing First model, to help women move from crisis to stability.
Through accessible services—such as warm meals, showers, laundry, computers, hygiene essentials, case management, and supportive programming—Sarah’s Circle addresses immediate needs and empowers women toward self-sufficiency and permanent housing.
Our team from the HBA is excited to support Sarah’s Circle today. We’ll have two shifts of seven volunteers each this event is only for this shift :
Breakfast shift: max of 7 people, 7am-10am
