HBA GLOBAL PRESENTS

Digital Innovators Presents: Innovation in the Regulated Environment

Can you innovate in a regulated environment? Join this session to learn more from industry expert Michelle Shogren and dialog with your peers on this important topic.

Innovation is needed in all areas and businesses, or progress will cease to exist. But how might you do this in a regulated environment like pharma, medical devices and digital healthcare? Are there too many rules and regulations to allow the freedom to innovate?

Innovating in a regulated environment is clearly more difficult than innovating in a creative or “optional” environment. However, it’s possible with the right infrastructure and groundwork. Michelle will share the lessons she learned over her 7-year journey while building and scaling an innovation function for a global pharmaceutical clinical development and operations department.
Join us to discover and discuss the following questions:
• How do you break through your company's "immune system" that is supposed to protect it from risk or in this case change?
• What are the 6 key components of creating an international innovation infrastructure?
