HBA SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA AND HBA PACIFIC REGION PRESENTS

Executive Coffee Chat with Dana Gaymon Spencer

HBA's Executive Coffee Chats is a new program catered toward our senior members, which offers more intimate and focused conversation with others who are similarly senior in their career. It is members-only and limited in attendance.

Additional Information
Dana Spencer is a native of Chicago, Illinois and a graduate of Northern Illinois University, majoring in Cardiac Rehabilitation. A healthcare veteran with 20+ years in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, Dana consistently delivers strong business performance through her ability to set vision and translate business needs into strategy that empowers teams to execute.

Whether in sales, operations or training, Dana has spent much of her career in positions of leadership. Currently, she is the Senior Director of Therapeutic Area & Business Training for Genentech, as well as the Itinerant Elder on the ministerial staff at First A.M.E. Oakland.

When people ask how she manages being bi-vocational, Dana simply states, “both roles inspire and influence people.” Dana is a member of the esteemed Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Women of Color in Pharma (WOCIP), Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) and serves as a mentor for NextGen.
