Building your Online Professional Brand: Set Yourself Apart with LinkedIn and Social Media

Does the COVID situation have you looking for a new career, shifting into a new role, or haven't updated your online presences in a while? Please join HBA Waltham for an interactive panel with top professionals in the industry on how to use LinkedIn and social media to set yourself apart and build your professional brand. Each panelist will bring their own unique perspective on how to navigate online, discuss do's and don'ts from a recruiter's standpoint, and how to leverage your professional brand to the fullest. With fewer in-person interactions and more and more global opportunities, it's increasingly important to optimize social media and continue to build and nurture relationships virtually. A CareerBuilder survey in 2018 reported that "70% if employers use social media to screen candidates during the hiring process, and about 43% of employers use social media to check on current employees" (Businessnewsdaily.com). Whether you are looking for a new career path or want to revamp your virtual profile join us to hear what recruiters are looking for online, how brand aesthetic can set yourself apart, tips to show up first in searches, and improve the impact of your online presence.
