The Hidden Dynamics Of Influence: Learn How to Get What You Need

IMPORTANT: The Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA) requires that all persons who participate in in-person events do so at their own risk and that each participant agrees to the following agreement prior to taking part in the activity and urges all participants to act in such a manner as to protect their own safety and the safety of others.

By registering for this event, I fully understand that my participation in the program is purely voluntary. I desire to participate and agree to act in a reasonable and prudent manner under the circumstances. I further understand that any HBA volunteers participating in the activity will be acting in an individual capacity only and will not represent the HBA. As a condition to my participation in the activity, I waive and release the HBA and their officers, employees, and agents from any claim that I may have for any damage to property or injury to my person that may result in whole or in part from my participation.

No matter what level you are at within an organization, we all need to influence within our roles. But how successful are we at influencing to progress our careers and make sure we get credit for the work we do?

Join the HBA Suburban Delaware Valley Chapter and Women in Bio Philadelphia Chapter for a partnered event on the Dynamics of Influence with Shelly O’Donovan, CEO of the Authentic Influence Group.

In this live in-person event, Shelly will share with attendees how to influence in positive and collaborative ways that support your career goals. This applies to relationships with your manager, your colleagues and your partners.

Participants will walk away from this dynamic workshop with a deeper understanding of how to influence.

Speaker Shelly O’Donovan is the CEO of the Authentic Influence Group. She teaches Persuasive Speaking at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She has spoken at HBA events, led vaccine advocacy for GSK, worked as a healthcare lobbyist, and has served as a staffer in state government. Shelly has been focused on cultivating authentic influence her entire career, and decoding what makes people tick. She has an MPA from the University of Pennsylvania, a Marketing certification from the Wharton School, and a BA in political science. Shelly is certificated in body language training and the Big Five personality theory, which provides a simple blueprint to understanding others, improving relationships by knowing why people tend to behave the way that they do.
