HB8 Supper Club - Table Talk with Vivian Ikupolati-Adeniyi and DeAnna Steiger

In the event that a registrant cancels their attendance for this event, you will be notified by the chapter representative for the HB8 dinner program via email. The wait list is managed on a first-come, first-served basis. Any participant who is moved from the wait list to a confirmed attendee will still be responsible for their event costs, which will be administered by the chapter at the time of the event.

In celebration of International Women's Day, we present this series of table talks on topics of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Join one or more of these small group events for an intimate discussion on current event topics with leaders across different organizations.

Join Vivian Ikupolati-Adeniyi, HBA WoC Director, Pacific Region and DeAnna Steiger, Director at Large of Programming for the HBA Los Angeles chapter in a thought provoking discussion on how to lead as a change agent.

Vivian Ikupolati-Adeniyi has 18 years of corporate experience including 3 years in the software Industry and 15 years in the Bio-Pharma industry. In her current role, Vivian is Business Performance & Strategic Planning Senior Manager, US Commercial Operations & Results Delivery Office for Amgen.

DeAnna Steiger,PhD is a business savvy scientist. DeAnna is currently the Director of Strategic Planning and Operations within Amgen’s Neuroscience Business Unit where she leads brand strategy, and execution oversight to the company’s first commercial neuroscience asset.

Summing up DeAnna's career trajectory is simple: DeAnna builds businesses. Making her mark as a business savvy scientist, DeAnna began her career as a startup consultant advising entrepreneurs on commercialization potential and has been building businesses ever since. Since joining Amgen in 2013, she has worked in business development, R&D for first-in-class assets, and currently in the US Commercial business. DeAnna is both motivated and motivating, which is why she is frequently recruited to lead her company's highest profile programs. She is fascinated by the complexity of the healthcare industry and thrives where business and science intersect.

In addition to her role at Amgen, DeAnna is the Director at Large of Programming for the HBA Los Angeles chapter. In this role DeAnna cultivates business partnerships tailored to the LA healthcare ecosystem and presents programming on the industry's most pressing topics. In addition to speaking on business topics within the Los Angeles region, DeAnna has also been a sought-after presenter on the national stage. Because of this, DeAnna was awarded the Marie Curie award for Innovation in 2020 and, most recently, the Legacy award for her multiple years of leadership service.
