The Power of Gender Equality to Counter Discrimination

Guidati dalla Prof.ssa Elisabetta Camussi, ci dedicheremo ad una riflessione volta a promuovere una maggiore consapevolezza dei bias a prescindere dal genere. Ragioneremo insieme su coos’è la discriminazione, provando a darne una definizione scientifica, analizzeremo la discriminazione di genere e capiremo come riconoscere i preconcetti e gli automatismi della discriminazione.

Elisabetta Camussi, Ph.D in Psicologia, è una Professoressa Associata di Psicologia Sociale al Dipartimento di Psicologia dell’Università di Milano-Bicocca, dove insegna Psicologia Sociale, Psicologia delle Differenze e delle Disuguaglianze, e Life Design (quest’ultimo alla Scuola di Design del Politecnico di Milano). E' componente del “Comitato di esperti in materia economico e sociale" guidato da Colao, dove ha coordinato il GdL “Individui, famiglie e società” (http://www.serena.unina.it/index.php/fuoriluogo/article/view/7666).

Ricopre il ruolo di coordinatrice del Comitato Pari Opportunità (CPO) dell’Ordine Psicologi della Lombardia e componente del Comitato Pari Opportunità nazionale, presso il CNOP (Consiglio Nazionale degli Psicologi.). Da marzo 2021 le è stata conferita dal Presidente della Repubblica l'onorificenza di Ufficiale dell'Ordine "Al merito della Repubblica Italiana".

Da aprile 2021 componente della “Cultural Change Commission” per il Women Forum del G20. Vicepresidente della Società Italiana di Orientamento (SIO), e della Federazione Italiana Psicologi (FIP), da molti anni si occupa di ricerca, pubblicazioni e progettazione di interventi e servizi su tematiche di genere femminile-maschile, Pari Opportunità, Welfare di prossimità, Psicologia dell’Orientamento e Life Design.
