HBA SEATTLE PRESENTS

HB8 Supper Club: Strategic Career Development

Have you planned a road map to your ideal career position or do you take positions because they are available and hope for the best? Do you have limitations that prevent you from reaching your ideal career? Is there a better approach for reaching your career goals by developing a strategic pathway? Is it possible to map out a strategic pathway to obtain the desired skill sets, connections and experience that will land you the most desired position of your life? We plan to have an informal discussion and share ideas on how to strategically map out your career path that will set you up for success, but equally important, to enjoy the road to success. We will share ideas on how to recognize the pros and cons of each job choice and how they contribute to your overall career pathway.

Join Susan Linna and fellow HBA Seattle members for an intimate opportunity to get to know each other in an informal, social environment and share your experiences. Susan Linna has more than 25 years of drug, vaccine and biologic development experience, 13 of them at a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company and over 13 in biotechnology. Susan has successfully managed product candidates from development through licensure. She specialized in building and leading portfolio, program and project management departments for several biotechnology companies, and as a result of her leadership, several products were approved and licensed by the Food and Drug Administration and other stringent regulatory authorities. Susan has overseen proposals that directly contributed to the award of several government contracts, some worth over $200 million in funding for product development. She has led the creation of well-integrated product development plans, created joint plans for complex collaborations, and successfully managed these partnerships to achieve joint goals. Additionally, Susan has extensive experience conducting clinical studies, ensuring they meet good clinical practice requirements and ensuring data integrity requirements are met so that clinical research can be analyzed to support product licensure. Susan will lead this dinner conversation, with up to eight HBA members, about strategic career development.

Please note: Participants are responsible for the cost of their own food and beverages.
