HBA GLOBAL PRESENTS

Webinar - Tomorrow's Executives: Gender Parity & Career Progression for the Next Generation (Series)

As today’s leaders work together on initiatives for equal pay, conquering unconscious bias and closing the gender gap, tomorrow’s leaders need to prepare for what comes next. This series, presented by the HBA’s affinity group Tomorrow’s Executives, seeks to provide tools and tactics for young professionals to grow as leaders and get ahead in incorporating gender parity into their everyday work culture.

Register now to receive all four of the following webinars:

Gender Parity for the Next Generation – 31 July
Nick Colucci, chairman, Publicis Health, and 2018 Honorable Mentor, will tell his story about the impact of unconscious bias training as a young manager and the ways in which it shaped his development as a leader in the years that followed. This webinar will focus on ways young professionals, men and women alike, can become effective leaders and allies in ongoing gender parity work.

The Alpha Female Mindset – 7 August
The #TimesUp era has opened unique opportunities to promote and uplift women, but for young female professionals the journey is still rife with challenges. In partnership with Stacee Mandeville, Red Leave Coaching, this webinar will demonstrate tactics for developing greater gravitas in the workplace and for taking advantage of greater opportunities both professionally and personally. It will address strategies for elevating one’s executive presence in a more consistent way and navigating the workplace in the presence of colleagues who may undermine those efforts.

Raising Your Hand for New Opportunities – 21 August
When opportunities don’t present themselves, sometimes you need to collaborate and create them yourself. In this webinar, Merck’s NextGen Resource Group will talk about how they are making opportunities for themselves and the ways in which they are being supported institutionally to grow themselves and the company. Share in a lessons-learned discussion about how they prepare for and balance “extra” work opportunities, how they advocate for themselves and what improvements or benefits they have seen in their careers leading this internal group.

Leaning In and Growing Out of an Individual Contributor Role – 28 August
We know we need to lean in in order to take our seats at the table in order to get to the next level, but what does it actually mean to take that step? In a conversation with Lisa Uthgenannt, chief human resources officer, LabCorp, attendees will explore what the leaders of tomorrow can expect to learn and experience as they grow beyond an individual contributor role.

Each session will provide timely, relevant content from a subject matter expert, real world experience and perspective from an industry leader and an engaging Q&A with participants.

All webinars will take place from 12:00 - 1:00 PM ET; please convert to your local time zone.
