Competency-Based Interviewing

Event details
HBA San Francisco presents a skill building event on competency-based Interviewing in collaboration with the Gladstone Institutes and UCSF WILS.   This event provides you with an opportunity to learn and discuss the experiences of senior level professionals from various life science companies and what their thoughts are on types of interview questions asked, how to master answering these types of questions and how to successfully land the job that you want by acing the interview.
 
The event will take place in a panel based format where each of the panelists will share their experiences.  The panel comprises of Joni Faucett from the commercial training and development division at Genentech, Marco Rosa, an executive career coach at Simplified Coach, Jennifer Troia, executive director of HR at Sunesis Pharmaceuticals and Donna Dumbach, director of small molecule and investigative toxicology at Genentech.
 
Learning objectives

1. Become acquainted with the concept of Competency-Based interviewing
2. How to prepare effectively for a Competency-Based interview in a life science company
3. How to master these techniques during the interview day that will lead to successful hiring
